Symptoms First of all, if you do snore, it doesn't necessarily mean that you have sleep apnea. Take our quiz to help you determine if you think you have sleep apnea. Some of the symptoms of sleep apnea are easier to detect than others. One way to detect some of the more obvious symptoms is to ask someone who has seen you sleeping. They should look for the classic signs of sleep apnea. The loud, heavy snoring, followed by periods of not breathing or gasping for air, which end up with the loud "snort".
Other symptoms can be
felt by the sufferer themselves.
